What Glux does
Glux asks you a short set of questions — your age, your waist measurement, your physical activity level and your family history of diabetes — and applies the published Indian Diabetes Risk Score (IDRS) scoring table to them. It returns a score, the band that score falls in, and a breakdown of which answers contributed. It then generates a personalized 90-day habit plan from your answers.
The Indian Diabetes Risk Score was developed and validated by the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation. Glux applies its published scoring table — it does not invent the score or the bands. Mohan V et al., J Assoc Physicians India, 2005.
A risk score is not a test, and not a diagnosis
The IDRS is a screening questionnaire. It involves no blood draw and produces no laboratory or clinical result. A score in a higher-risk band does not mean you have diabetes or prediabetes — it means the questionnaire’s published scoring table places your answers in that band, and that it is worth speaking to a doctor and getting a confirmatory blood test.
A score in a lower-risk band does not mean you are healthy, and it is not a reason to skip a check-up, ignore symptoms, or stop any treatment.
Your plan is generated by AI
Your 90-day plan is generated by an artificial intelligence model. It is not written or reviewed by a clinician, a dietitian, or any other professional, and it can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your circumstances. Treat it as general wellness information.
For questions about your health, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
Your score and your band are never AI-generated. They come from the published IDRS scoring table, computed on our server and returned exactly as the instrument defines them.
What Glux does not do
- Glux does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
- Glux does not tell you that you “have” or “don’t have” any condition.
- Glux does not provide individualized medical advice or a treatment plan.
- Glux is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
Before you start a new routine
Your plan may suggest walking, exercise, sleep and food changes. General guidance cannot account for your individual medical circumstances. Consult a qualified healthcare professional first — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have heart, kidney, liver, thyroid or metabolic disease, or take any prescription medication. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness or unusual fatigue during any activity Glux suggested.
Always talk to your doctor
Think of Glux as a companion between checkups, not a replacement for your doctor. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health and before making changes to your health routine, medication, or diet.
In an emergency
Glux is not for emergencies, and it is not monitored — no one at Glux sees your messages in real time. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
